Experience Multi Day Fly Fishing Tours in Tasmania

October 28, 2022

How long do you need to fully appreciate Tasmania's world class fly fishery? In our latest post, we explore our fishing charter packages from single to multi day experiences.

Experience Multi Day Fly Fishing Tours in Tasmania

Tasmania's trout fishery is incredibly diverse, with an endless labyrinth of lakes, rivers, lagoons and streams holding strong populations of wild brown, rainbow and brook trout.

There is a lime time of fly fishing opportunities to be experienced - however, for the visiting angler, time is usually the enemy as travel plans govern the amount of possible time out on the water.

With so many fly fishing options close to our major town centers, Trout Tales can get you out fly fishing regardless of how much (or little) time you have available on your trip to Tasmania.

About our Tasmanian trout fishing charter packages

All our Tasmanian fly fishing packages for multi day trips include transport, accommodation, all the fly fishing gear you will need, and some amazing local produce along the way.

This means all you need to bring with you is some warm clothing and a strong desire to experience Tasmania's stunning wilderness locations and world class fly fishing.

Our shortest package is a single day trip which is great for anglers with limited time and will give you a taste of fly fishing in Tasmania.

However, to fully experience the range of fly fishing options on offer, we suggest one of our multi day packages between two - five days long.

Having multiple days allows us to fish different water types and use various fly fishing techniques. It also gives us flexibility to work around any adverse weather days and travel to different locations around Tasmania, which all vary dramatically throughout the seasons.

Multi day trips allow us to visit some more remote areas, and catch some great fish!

Picking up and dropping off from either Hobart or Miena, these packages are all inclusive of everything you will need.

Simply get yourself to Tassie and Trout Tales will take care of the rest.

Our preferred accommodation providers are The Great Lake Hotel at Miena, and Ratho Farm at Bothwell. Both of these provide a fantastic experience for guests and are centrally located to a lot of the fly fishing destinations.
