About Our Featured Packages

Our featured packages are a hand-picked selection of the fishing experiences we know Tasmania does best...

Rather than covering every option we offer, this selection draws on the specific areas and trip styles our clients consistently love, from the wild lakes of the Central Highlands to the intimate spring-fed rivers south of Hobart and the exclusive private water at Currawong Lakes.

Durations are tailored to each area to make the most of the fishing opportunity on offer. Some trips suit a single focused day, others reward a longer stay where the fishing builds as the days go on. Whichever package you choose, the approach is the same. We read the conditions, find the fish, and fish them well.

All featured packages depart from Hobart or a nearby pickup point and include all guiding, transport, quality tackle and locally tied flies, and chef-prepared meals featuring Tasmanian produce. Multi-day packages include accommodation with breakfast, evening meals and drinks beside the fire.

what to expect from the fishing

What makes a package worth featuring comes down to the same things every time, water that fishes well, an area our clients keep coming back to, and a duration that genuinely suits the fishing on offer. Some areas reward a single focused day. Others, like Currawong or an extended Highlands trip, only really open up once you have a few days to settle into them.

Each featured package gives you a clear, well-tested option to start from. If you would rather build something specific to your dates and group, our custom packages remain the better fit, but for most visiting anglers, this selection covers the experiences that consistently deliver the best fishing Tasmania has to offer.

Every featured package is guided by Matt and the team, fully accredited and insured through TGALT, with detailed knowledge of how each area fishes across the season.

Locations are chosen from the specific waters our clients consistently love, from highland lakes and private lagoons to spring-fed rivers and exclusive Currawong access.

Durations are tailored to the area and the season, giving each package enough time on the water to make the most of what that particular fishing has to offer.

All gear, transport and chef-prepared meals are included, so you can simply turn up ready to fish.
