A great little video encapsulating all the action from the recent World Fly Fishing Championships 2019, held right here in Tasmania, at venues our clients regularly visit to fly fish with us. We regularly fish all the venues chosen for the Championships and can help you experience Tasmania’s world class fly fishing destinations and have you fishing where the Champions fish!
As you can see in this video, the venues of the World Fly Fishing Championships 2019 are varied and each have unique landscapes and fly fishing conditions. The trout in each location display different feeding patterns and behaviors at various stages of the season. To be successful fly fishing these venues, anglers must have a sound knowledge of what the fish are likely to be feeding on and in which areas they are likely to be found. For anyone traveling to these venues for the first time, it is recommended to use the services of a guide to show you the techniques that are successful in Tasmanian lakes and rivers.
Whilst planning your trip to Tassie, why not make the most of our world class produce, wineries and scenery. Talk to us when booking about tailoring a personalized, all-inclusive for you.
