There's a bit more fly fishing gear in the Trout Tales shop this season, with new caps and a full lineup of fly combo boxes now available.
New Fishing Caps for the Season
We've added two new cap styles: the Tales From Tassie Cream Angler Cap and the Navy Trout Cap, alongside updated colours in the original Trout Tales Cap. All part of the Tales From Tassie merch line, designed with local artist Sam Lyne.

New Fly Box Combos, Sorted by Water
The fly boxes have been put together to take the guesswork out of getting set up. There's a Lake Combo Box for still water, a River Combo Box for moving water, and an Ultimate Combo Box that covers both. Every fly's hand tied here in Tasmania, using the same trout fly patterns Matt and the guides trust every day on the water.
"Really tried to simplify things if you're coming fly fishing in Tasmania," Matt says. "There's a combo box there to suit all you need, and you've got all the flies you need to come and be successful."
Whether you're stocking up before opening weekend or picking up something for a mate heading to Tassie, it's a straightforward way to make sure you're properly set up.
