The Pheasant Tail Nymph is one of the most reliable river nymphs you can have. It is a very natural pattern with a copper bead and a small orange collar to separate itself from the naturals in the river. A pheasant tail is always a great starting point when arriving at a river as it can represent mayfly and many other small macroinvertebrates in the water.
